Born on the gritty streets of Puerta De Plata in the Capital City of Santo Domingo Dominican Republic, NIFI at NITE had no idea what was in store for him. Born into a lrage poor family he scraped by alongside the rest of his many brothers and sisters. At the young age of three and a half he was adopted along with two of his 5 year old sisters by a German/Italian couple all the way from Grand Rapids Michigan. The couple took NIFI at NITE away from the small island and began his journey around the world. His father had the family moving a lot due to job commitments. NIFI at NITE was interested in music at a young age listening to his mother play the piano and learning to play the guitar for his churh choir. He watched many famous artists on TV ranging from Michael Jackson to the Notorious B.I.G., these people playing a key influence on his obsession with music. His journey thru the music world covered a wide array from Oldies, Country, and even Soul Gospel It wasn't until later that he would truly appreciate the influence of music in his life. After nearly destroying his parents old school turntable trying to scratch a vinyl, NIFI at NITE's brother Ricky introduced him to the magestic world of deejaying and mixing different genres of music all while controlling the speed at which the music is played. NIFI at NITE was hooked! He bought his turntable and spent many a sleepless night, headphhones on, mixing and scratching songs together in his basement. Fast forward to 2007, NIFI at NITE was fresh out of the desert sands of Iraq, just returned from a 7 month tour. Tired of the same old club scene he ungred for more exposure to the music industry. After having met Kill-Joy and the rest of the In Tha Ruff Family thru his friend and fellow co-worker Johnny Ortenzo, the two vowed to change the Hawaii scene devoid of a hip hop scene. Using his understanding of promotions and management skills NIFI at NITE took hold of the reigns of I.T.R. and began his mission to blow up on the Hawaii scene and expand elsewhere. He brought to the table a new attitude and the mid set to make it happen. Now with almost two years under the belt, NIFI at NITE is ready for the challenging road ahead and says this to all those who are out there watching, waiting... "In Tha Ruff, The Diamond that will always shine, You can't break us! Mind, body, soul We are indestructible!"
