Born and raised in Lancaster, Pensylvania. Archangel grew up in a stereotypical white family, with rural surroundings and a stable up bringing. He watched each of his parent’s struggle working eighty hours a week in order to provide for him and his sister. “I was determined never to live form paycheck to paycheck.” Says’ Archangel. “I had everything I needed, but the exhaustion in my parents’ eyes made me see that a drastic change was needed in my life.” That change would come in the form of a cassette tape his sister gave him. It was Wu-Tang Clan: Enter The 36 Chambers. Archangel was blown away by the sound of this new music. I realized that this was what I wanted to do with my life. Testing his lyrical skills at home and work soon turned into library battles and underground performances. Yet still not many people wanted to hear a white from Pennsylvania rap. While working his way through school and refining his battle skills Archangel created a name for him self. During this time white rappers were making their way into the main stream. After graduating from high school Archangel joined the Marines to see the world. In February 2003 he was stationed in Hawaii where his lyrical gift was recognized at a local rap battle. “I was then taken under the wing of Anarkia (CEO OF RARE ENTERTAINMENT) and taught to harness my skills and develop my craft. Since then I’ve had the privilege of performing in front of hundreds of die hard hip-hop fans, battling the best rappers Hawaii had to offer and was even fortunate enough to battle JIN, Known around the world as a member of the Ruff Ryder’s & Champion of the B.E.T freestyle Friday.” ArchAngel remains one of the toughest and most unique lyricists ever to grace the microphone. He is now one of the most renowned battle rappers in Hawaii and with the grace of God, Archangel: an angel ranked above the highest rank in the celestial hierarchy will become a household name.
